I thoroughly enjoyed it! All of the siblings lead interesting, but contrasting lives, and their stories are well told. As the anchor of the family, mamma battles multiple ailments brought on by old age (and probably poor diet), as well as trying to bring her children closer together. The supporting cast are equally entertaining and range from all ends of the spectrum.
All together, 'Under One Roof' is an easy read --- guaranteed to capture your interest and keep the pages turning. I've read it twice and highly recommend it!

The characters were fully developed and displayed a richness and depth rarely found in this genre. As a reader I actually cared about the characters. The fact that each was flawed lended to their authenticity.

The book is captivating. The storyline reflects the relationship of my siblings and I. Through all the conflicts the underlying foundation of love is there and rises when it is needed the most.
For a whirlwind of all emotions, I highly recommend this book.

The characters come to life in your mind and you start to relate to them. Your emotions are wrapped around the lives and frailties of these characters as you pray for and hope they either change their ways and be healed of all their illnesses physiacl, emotional, mental and financial. We connect to these people because they are us.
